PTT (push to talk) button itself. In addition
to a large easy to manipulate button, its
long switch stroke and unique structure to
give solid sensation of switching (patented)

a thick gloves or from top of the fire proof
suits. Its waterproof structure makes it
an ideal communication apparatus for professional
fire fighters and rescue corps. |

Use of Smart PTT Mode |

Normal PTT mode can be switched to Smart
PTT (SPT) mode. In SPT mode, pushing PTT
button once will lock the talk mode and another
push will unlock and revert to receiving
mode. SPT mode offers reliability of PTT
button and hands free manipulability made
possible with VOX (voice activated circuitry)
combined. |

AUTO SHUT OFF |
|
To make certain that talk mode on SPT is
unlocked at the end of transmission, AUTO
SHUT OFF is installed to revert SPT to receive
mode after about two minutes from the start
of transmission. This is made possible by
electric circuit devised (patented) to regulated
SPT instead of maintaining the switch on
mode mechanically. |
