¡Characteristics
1) FTi's proprietary bone conduction technology is applied to both the microphone and the speaker
Bone conduction microphone incorporated into the headband picks up vibration from the vocal chords = bone conduction sound at the top of the skull and converts it to sounds. Radio communication is heard through bone conduction speaker placed near the temple. Thus crystal clear communication is achieved with both ears and front of the face free of any apparatus.
2) Single headset accommodates highly noisy to very peaceful environment.
Bone conduction microphone hardly picks up ambient noises, and its combined use with ear plugs to protect hearing improves the clarity of the sound received via bone conduction speaker to a great extent. In the environment with no need for ear plugs, however, safety factor in work situation is increased by being able to listen to the surrounding sounds and communicate at the same time.
3) Can be used in combination with various types of face guard or mask.
Since there is no microphone near the mouth, communications is made possible with various types of face guard and mask (anti dust, anti toxic, etc.,) over the face.
