Managing Director, Ted Kitagawa, has been in the UK for eight years and has developed relationships with innovative companies throughout the Far East bringing high quality products such as Media Erasers to the UK market. Future Technology Industry now offers a variety of CCT Mark Awarded Media Erasing products enabling the safe disposal of media such as hard drives containing confidential data. The products range in magnetic power from the base model 'HC2000' which produces 5,000 Oe, to the top end model 'COMBO' which generates 10,000 Oe and is the most powerful degaussing product available in the world. The units erase magnetic media in a matter of seconds and can cope with any Hard Drive size. The HC7800 model is even large enough to place a complete laptop inside - meaning there is no need to remove the Hard Drive. Three models are also available that can physically puncture the media thus rendering it useless. The 'COMBO' unit has the ability to both erase and puncture the media, providing complete destruction. Since our three Degausser products have been awarded CCT Mark last year, we supplied our products to local government i.e. Conwy County Council, Science & Technology Felicities Council, NHS (National Health Service) i.e. Shetland NHS Board, Birmingham & Solihull Mental Health Board and MOD i.e. British offset DGFM team. Also, we supplied PC maintenance companies, etc. Demand to eliminate personal data from Hard Drive is getting larger and larger these days and our aim is to eliminate these personal data from hard drive or other magnetic media sufficiently, speedy and safely. Our Degausser products are mobile (except HC7800), high performance (from 5,000 Oe to 10,000 Oe) and safe. Our Degausser product overview is 1. Reliably Erasing Ability - The Hard Disk Magnetic Crusher passed 50,000 continuous tests under high temperature and high humidity atmosphere. It observation by AFM/MFM microscopy proves that the unit completely erases magnetic data on hard drives. 2. Safety Design for people - About 120 gausses of magnetism is generated by a mobile phone (when talking) and about 300 gausses generated by a magnet used for a white board. However, our products generate less than 20 gausses externally. No magnetism that influences the human body is detected from our products. Also products have safety function - All products have automatic self-test function, automatic checking function for deterioration of internal capacitors, automatic detection system of voltage change and discharging of internal capacitors in case of a power failure.
